Remembering Amy Winehouse Today on What Would Have Been Her 37th Birthday (Born 9/14/83)

Amy Winehouse was born Amy Jade Winehouse on September 14th, 1983 in Southgate, London, U.K, her rise to fame happened during the 2000’s after the debut album “Frank” in 2003 a blend of Jazz, Pop and R&B, but her international success only came in 2006 when she released “Back To Black” featuring the hit songs “Rehab” and “Back To Black”, it became a worldwide success and charted on #1 in several countries including the U.K, it entered at number seven on the Billboard 200. “Back To Black” was the best-selling album in the UK of 2007, selling 1.85 million copies over the course of the year.
"Back to Black" was inspired by Winehouse's relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil, who had left her for an ex-girlfriend.
The phrase “back to black” is of course a metaphor. And to understand what it means, it’s best to resort to how the artist at hand, Amy Winehouse sweet music print, explained it in her own words. To her, what the term speaks to is going back to something you are comfortable with after the demise of a relationship.

Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own.

This beautiful song sweet music print is about loving someone who doesn't love you back, or a bad romance. And the hard thing about this song's story is that the person she loves is using her feelings for him to take advantage of her. She regrets everything that she's done with him but whenever they're together she just forgets everything.

She feels that love is being foolish. And If she's gonna be a fool, better be fool for the one she loves. But in the latter part of the song, she decides to choose herself. She left him. It was painful for her, yes. But she's looking forward to finding her mr. right.

Amy Winehouse - You Know I'm No Good.

"You Know I'm No Good" is a song written and performed by English singer Amy Winehouse from her second and final studio album, Back to Black (2006). This beautiful quirky print is a great way to add a striking design to your home with unique & personalised Vibrating Lines

The woman who inspired The Zutons' Valerie sweet music print has been discovered, some 12 years after Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson's cover became a worldwide hit. It transpires that the 2006 track was written about Valerie Star, a make-up artist who previously dated Zutons frontman Dave McCabe.

Amy Winehouse, me and those tattoos: ‘I’ll never do that pin-up image on anyone else’

That dark beehive of hair and the heavy, feline eye makeup are now a recognisable visual shorthand for Amy Winehouse. In the few years since her death, Winehouse has become both a stylish motif and a symbol of doomed talent – up there with James Dean or Kurt Cobain – aside from the musical legacy of her songs.
